We are a VAT Registered small footwear business, we have recently gone into pre-owned footwear and clothing, does anyone know what are the VAT implications of this, how do i best calculate VAT and keep records.
Our system is we take good quality clothing/footwear in from a customer and on sale of the goods, we give 50% commission to the customer.
The HMRC website is useless, it takes ages to navigate round then you can't usually find exactly what you are looking for.
