Advice needed: Can I say I'm living away from home to SLC whilst living at home?

To be honest i'm quite shocked at the amount of loan people get if they live at home

I mean, they may have slightly higher transport costs but even if they pay their parents rent of £40/ week this is less than half what i pay living away from home!

The people i know who live at home manage to save the majority of their loan.

I think if you budgeted, even owning a car is doable on the home student loan amount.

i knwo how you feel, ive got OCD and 'low mood' vut i find taht keepign busy really helps, though sometimes i do need to take naps half way through, which wouldnt really be possible if i worked for anyone else!

i get my stock from teh wholesalers btw.

Fraud is a crime.....and crime doesn't pay!!
If you were caught the Loan Company can report you and additionally request all the loan you have recieved up until that time to be paid back immediately!

Access to learning is a great help, student overdraft - perhaps you should also look about this forum more, i've survived away from home, paying rent, tuition fees ontop and this year i've managed to quit my job so that i can concentrate on my studies in my final year! It is extremely hard but you can do it without having to resort to fraud.
