I know the Wii is a shade long in the tooth now but my young kids really enjoy playing it at friends houses.
Argos are doing a Wii + Mario (their favorite NDS game!) + Wii Music for £99 seems like a really good deal can't see there being a better offer around? just asking as consoles are not something I have been into.
From what I can see, the only main addition I would need to buy is another one of the wavey stick thing controllers so they could play in 2 player modes instead of taking turns?
Thanks

Yep you only normaly get the one controller with them, I remember when these first came out and the hassle trying to get one not to mention the price.0

I was looking at this Argos deal and was considering to buy it but in the end I decided to buy on Ebay a bundle with console, games, Wii fit with board, controllers etc. I am saving 50% by buying this used instead of new. I did some research and I found out that the Wii console is the same, there are no different versions so there is no really an incentive to buy a new one as opposed to used.0

Incentive could be a warranty, most electronic items on ebay (private seller) will be fine, but if anything goes wrong then not much you can do.
Nintendo are bringing out a new console next year though, the Wii U. Looks pretty good, only downside is no Blu-Ray, uses a proprietary HD disk instead.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
Of course Nintendo offer a repair service at £28 for a minor and £56 for a major repair outside of warranty, all shipping included in price.0

The Wii Music game is pretty lame, and not really worth the money (although it is 'free' with the Argos bundle).
Mario Kart is good, but I don't think that bundle comes with Wii Sports or Sports Resort games. Mario Kart on its own can be picked up for about £30 - £35, and you are better off getting the 'original' Wii bundle that came with Wii Sports or Sports Resort.
How about this from Tesco Direct - http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.207-0942.aspx - a black Wii bundle with Sports Resort for £115.
The same from Game for £99.99 http://www.game.co.uk/en/nintendo-wii-black-limited-edition-console-with-sports-resort-pak-42191?pageSize=20&categoryIdentifier=10470&attributeName1=Catalog_GameSalesCatalog_EN_GB&attributeValue1=4294967273
Spare remote controls are about £30 for a 'standard' and £40 for the 'motion plus' version that Sports Resort and a few other games need.0 -

Game are out of Stock, would be a good deal though! For me the Mario bundle is fine as both kids are totally mad about it.
Found these motionplus controllers on Ebay @£15, no buyers seem unhappy with them, we will see as I took a gamble on it...!
