thanks button missing

hi, my last 4 posts has had the thanks button missing, does anyone know how this happens

The thanks button doesnt appear on your own posts, only other peoples - You can't thank yourself

If you post to a thread, it seems that any posts by other people (to that thread) since you started creating your post, don't have the 'thanks' button.
Clearly this is most noticeable on those threads which have lots of posts being added in a short space of time.
A simple refresh brings the button up, but it can be a touch confusing if all the posts on a page fall into that category.0
