First Direct Joining Incentive £150

Can anyone help me please? Both my other half and I switched our bank accounts in August to First Direct as we saw a joining incentive being advertised as £150 through MSE or moneysupermarket but I can't remember where. I have contacted first direct and they are telling me it was £125 but I am 100% sure it was £150 and my other half thinks the same. Did anyone else see this and how have they got on getting the £150 if you did switch your account?
Thanks for your help

The only offer I saw was for £125. I got the £125 I expected.0

Could it have been via a cashback site?0

I'd say more the likely. You can get £225 cashback from the co-op if you go via NHS, but only £200 if you go direct. Could have been the same with FD.0

I have just been paid £100 and like the other person remember it said on MSE that it was £150. That was the reason we changed. Did you manage to find where it was on the site? Like you I also cannot find it, but 100% rememeber it being £150.

I had to chase FD twice for my joining bonus and have just been paid £100.... but I'm sure it was £150 at the time I joined. Don't suppose anyone has any proof of this offer do they? I opened the account in January 2012.

Found £125 mentioned in one of Martins old weekly emails:

First direct have NEVER offered cashback of £150. It's always been £100 with a £25 top up occasionally offered if applying via Moneysupermarket
I also don't believe the cashback sites have ever offered anything on First Direct accounts.0 -
I'm in the same predicament: the offer was £125 to switch and an extra £25 if you did it via the MSE website. So far I've only received £100... False advertising from First Direct & MSE??? Same as the previous threads, unfortunately I can't prove it.0
