in 1999 i started a wealthmaster policy with abbey life. paying £25 per month.
this game me life assurance for myself and a lump sum after 10 years with a option to continue for a further term.
the lump sum was for my daughter which i had planned to continue with the policy untill she was 16 taking this to 2016.
sadly due to serious medical reasons the policy had to be surrendered in 2006.
and for little value may i add!.
anyway i was hoping someone could tell me of a similar policy out there i can start again, paying double per month so the lump sum will be there when my daughter is 18.

MIPS and endowments (which your plan would have been one of these) are obsolete. Regular contribution investment ISAs are the main product you would use today.
Cheaper, choice of a 1000 funds in one place, stop, start, up, down the premiums, add singles, make partial withdrawals if required and no defined timescale.
