I've been told that members of U3A can buy the full Microsoft Office 2010 package for £40 which I believe is the same as students and teachers, this seems a good deal.
What I'd like to know is if this is only for U3A members or can any pensioner buy it? And if not, how can I become a member of U3A?
Just in case any young person hasn't heard of U3A, its a learning organisation (University of the 3rd age) for retired people

This PDF is on one of their (users?) websites...I've been told that members of U3A can buy the full Microsoft Office 2010 package for £40 which I believe is the same as students and teachers, this seems a good deal.
I don't see any obvious reason why pensioners (or bus drivers or shop assistants or any other arbitrary group) would be eligible for a concession from Microsoft!
