I don't quite understand why you are trying to pay debts off with borrowed funds it's usually inadvisable. You need to renegotiate the payment terms making token repayments on the debts.

I had an argument with a decision maker once in regards to borrowed money and deprivation of capital. I was into balance transfers a while ago moving money about to keep the interest rate very low or zero. I borrowed about £8,000 on a new capital one card at a fixed low interest rate for life and put the money into my current account via a super balance transfer card and then paid off another credit card bill in full with the money. As the old credit card bill was not due in full they said it was deprivation of capital as I should have only been paying the minimum payments. I'd just avoid doing borrowing any more if I were you.
Which website? What you read on here is all opinion there are no trusted person's or places to go or give your details to. If you put in a claim for housing benefit and council tax benefit and explain all the income that comes into your account they may or may not give you housing benefit. If you have £1900 coming in and you say you are borrowing that to pay the rent then its unlikely you will get more money to pay the same bill but each decision maker is different. You "may" get it. I personally would not borrow more than the personal allowance each week that's £67.50. That will be excluded as you are not getting JSA. It's not against any law to apply and state the facts so don't let people here put you off trying to claim.

I don't think you will get working tax credits as you are not working for remuneration (pay).

    Thank you for this.

    - the website is turn2us

    - is the weekly allowance of 67.5 for family or for adult? we are 2 adults and 2 children.

    - another thing that I need confirmation, do i need to contact the council because i stopped the JSA or they will be informed automatically?

The council will be informed that you are no longer entitled to JSA and will probably stop your claim. However this can take a few weeks to go through, so you would then have an overpayment to repay. The best thing to do is to notify the local authority directly and put in a fresh claim immediately based on your current circumstances. Since you have already stopped JSA but have not yet applied for a loan, your finances will be assessed on the amount you have at the moment.

Note, do not delay otherwise there will be a gap in your claims between JSA ending and you making a fresh claim, and there is no guarantee that they will backdate the new claim - in fact it is highly likely they will not.

If you are in receipt of housing benefit (for a council house) or LHA (for a privately rented house) the same advice applies.

If you need more advice, you should either go and see the CAB, or phone the individual departments directly. I doubt that there will be anyone on here willing to act as a volunteer adviser for you, but I could be wrong.

    Good Luck.

Much depends on your LHA rate if private rented, (people with the same size family and income in one area may get housing benefits and others in another area may get none) your tax credits will also be counted for means tested benefits. The JSA rate for a couple is £105 per week

I already finished JSA, I am now looking for keeping HB and CTB alive or move to other benefits

No-one here can advise you on this as there are too many variables.

I suggest that you use the turn2us website, and try inputting different income figures. This should give you an idea.
