Halifax Credit Card Charge

Just wondering if anyone can help me here please?

I've just recieved a Late Fee charge of £12 on my Halifax 'One Card' for late payment, which was due on 17/10/11.

I do all my banking online, and sent payment on 14/10/11 from my Halifax Ultimate Account to my Halifax One Card. I checked, and the credit card only shows it received the money on 18/10/11, which was obviously late! Shouldn't it have gone in faster though, seens as though I sent it on the 14/10/11?

Is there anything I can do? Write to somewhere, or just take it on the chin?

Also, I'm more worried about my credit score over the £12. As I don't want this to be lowered

That's a Friday. The last working day of the week. While in a utopia the transfer would be instant, we're not there yet and the bank hasn't claimed that we're there.

On the back of your statement, it tells you how long such payments will take. Have a look and see what you think.

I'd suggest a polite phone call querying it will get the £12 charge refunded. I doubt it will show on your credit file.

its halifax crap system, I dont know why it doesnt appear over night its the same dam bank but it doesnt
