Lost small package to Holland via Royal Mail Airmail

Hi all. Three weeks ago I sent a stick of faulty memory RAM for my PC back to the manufacturer, Corsair, who are located in Holland. I sent a 'small packet' via Royal Mail's Airmail service online (I have an online RM account), no international signed for etc, simply the price of postage only. After checking with Corsair, the packet is likely lost since they have not, as yet, received it. After three weeks, is it fair to assume it's lost?
If so, is there recourse with RM concerning compensation for the lost goods? Fortunately, the RAM didn't cost too much, around £20, but it's still a loss. Any help concerning any further steps I could take with RM would be appreciated. Thanks.

I believe for European losses the claim period is 20 working days , so basically 4 weeks- but you might want to check that. You will need proof of posting though so I hope you took it to the pO to get that stamped.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
