Why on earth would you allow somebody else to sort out payslips and P60 for you? If you had proof of income why not provide it?

You have been complicit in any fraudulent application by allowing it to happen with full knowledge. Struggling to see how you could compain to the lender and CAB when you applied fraudulently.

I suspect you are now registered as a fraudulent applicant and will struggle to gain finance anywhere.

You will probably now be recorded on the national "hunter" database, which records all fraudulent applications.

Did you knowingly submit false payslips, or was this down to the "broker"? you need to clear your name and get this removed if you are innocent, not sure how you go about this, it sounds like your"broker" was not authorised and was possibly acting with an in branch advisor, as you would not normally go into a bank to sign papers etc. If your "broker" was authorised then you need to complain to his company/network, did they provide you with an IDD (initial disclosure document) explaining their service?

If they were not authorised, then possibly trading standards may help you?

The application was made by you not the broker. If you feel that you were mislead by the broker then complaining directly to the FSA, regarding the brokers conduct. Seems your only route to try to clear your own name.

I suspect the "broker" was not authorised, and was just an "introducer" to his mate in the bank, therefore the FSA would not be interested in the "broker" but possibly the "advisor" in the bank.

    Hi Kingstreet,
Thanks for your comments.I checked on my Experian Credit Report. There is nothing on CIFAS. Is it different than above links you provided?
  • You say you complained to Santander - how (writing, verbally or what ?) - did you receive any letter/dcoument in response to your complaint ?

Did you receive any documentation from Santander during the application - do you have this available ?

How did your employer find out about this ?

Excuse me asking - but is English your first language ?
