Will a car radio fit my car?

Started this forum as I've found with ford radios it can be tricky to find a replacement radio to fit the dashboard and was hoping to tap into someones knowledge.

I have a Ford Mondeo 2005 - mk3 with a 6 CD auto changed (CDX132-6CD) and want to change it for a car radio that supports MP3s.

I could go out and buy a special fascia to allow me to fit an non-branded radio but I am keen to replace the radio with another ford radio.

I have found a Generation2 Ford radio (CD3XX-CD1-RECT-KW2000) would anyone be able to tell me if this will fit my car?

In the glove box you will find a 3.5mm jack plug socket. If you have an MP3 or iPlayer then purchase a 3.5mm jack plug (both ends) cable. Plug everything in and using the AUX button on the stereo you can then listen to your choice of music. Of course if you do decide to change the head unit be sure that it will function from the remote controls.

Yeah a 2005 car will have the AUX socket in the glovebox.

You may need to enable it in the stereo's options though.
