Wall mounted plasma/LCD

As part of our kitchen refurb next month, we will be losing a place for the current kitchen tv. DH suggested a wonderfully aesthetically pleasing alternative of wall mounting a plasma or LCD tv on the chimney breast of the kitchen. Will it get too hot?

Please can anybody help me to answer this question. All answers kindly appreciated.

Ang.
