As part of our kitchen refurb next month, we will be losing a place for the current kitchen tv. DH suggested a wonderfully aesthetically pleasing alternative of wall mounting a plasma or LCD tv on the chimney breast of the kitchen. Trouble is though, we are thinking about using that fireplace with a working woodburning stove so it raises the question of will it be a suitable place to wall mount a tv with the stove there? Will it get too hot?
Please can anybody help me to answer this question. All answers kindly appreciated.
