Francophiles - Advice on Cosne sur Loire

Hiya,
I know NOTHING about France at all - but have been invited to wedding in Cosne Sur Loire. It looks a beautiful area, and I love Sancerre wine.
But I can't work out how to get there. Or where to stay? Would be with 18 month old baby as well.
We don't speak a word of French - would this present a lot of difficulties?
Merci Beaucoup!

Ive found the official tourist site .for the region.
Its around 1 +1/2 hrs by train from Paris, or you could fly into one of 5 airports serving the Loire region.- Tours, Auvergne, Boutheon, Saint Geoirs and Saint Exupery and probably hire a car to get to where you are staying.0 -
Hi, France is lovely - we go nearly every year - havn't been to that region though - looks really nice. I'd recommend booking your accomodation through the tourist board site (as provided by the previous reply!) - it is usually quite cheap! If you are going for a night or two a bed & breakfast should be OK, but try a gite if you are going to make a holiday of it?
Don't worry about speaking french too much - if it is a tourist region most people speak some english - but the best thing to do is to have a go, even if its just merci & s'il vous plait! if you show willing they usually come to your aid!0
