I looked at a movie site called popcorn and reg for free 3 day trial - now i can't get rid of it. I have done add remove programmes,and that was ok. I have cleared all temp folders. Done a search and deleted anything there. I thought i had cracked it, I am on AOL, but every time Internet explorer comes on their page comes up demanding payment!!I have to reboot to get rid of it...
Any ideas please of how i could stop it? Oh popupblockers and ad blockers are both on...

download and run adware and spy bot search and destory make sure to update them.

Thanks Thomas - it sort of worked, but there are still traces of it. Don't get the annoying popup now though - hopefully gone for good
