Problem with development site

Hi everyone,

I hope I have this in the correct category.

Basically at the back of my house they are building houses, and last week they decided to cut the trees at the rear of my back garden, as our garden is large years ago with put up a fence to to reduce the size (not by much 12ft or so)

In the summer as I had my sons swimming pool up I had to put his goal posts over the fence (still our garden) resting on the fence but more over than in the garden, but as they were cutting the trees they decided to come and throw his goal posts, they haven't cut the trees this far down so why they removed them I dont know.

So last week my partner contacted the developers who promised to call back, but never did, so I rang again this morning and again was promised a call straight back but as yet nothing.

So does anyone know where I stand ?

Thanks

Your Conveyancing plans will show your boundary line.

If there was no clear boundary then I can understand the confusion. HOWEVER, the building site should have marked out boundary extents. As far as I understand it, you are entitled to your items being replaced. Keep calling, construction companies can loose things as it is typically a coffee stained number on a postit on a desk. I would not be surprised if they replace or compensate you for damage/loss. Get another fence and a gate through in the future though.
