I'm looking for a simple printer.
New Argos cat. on line has an Olivetti all in one for £29.99. Can't see a model no.
Has anyone got one? Are Ollivetti any good?
I was going to go for the HP deskjet 1360 ,Argos again, at £19.99 - is that any good?

I find you usually ALWAYS get what you pay for. every printer I've had that cost less than £100 has broken within a few months.
The Epson I use at the moment has been going strong for over 2 years now though!0 -
Ta bobbarley (near neighbour!), but i've had 2 Epsoms and neither lasted more than a year. I know what you mean by 'you get what you pay for' but have learnt from other purchases it isn't always the case.
I just want a 'cheap' printer 'cos that's all I can afford at the moment:o:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0 -
I bought the HP C3180 from argos just before xmas, got to say i'm quite impressed about the quality for the money. Scanning is ok once you fiddle with the settings a little and print quality is good and rather quick.
I've yet to buy refills.. hope i can find a nice online place for those0 -

Yeah I hear ya. another thing to check before you make a purchase is what will your residual costs be? the printer is cheap, but how much are ink refills going to be later on?0 -
Unless they've changed recently, Olivetti printers are basically just Lexmark printers inside different plastic cases.
I'd sooner go for an HP with 343 or 363 series Vivera inks.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
i,ve got an epsom c62 that,s about 5 years old now and have no problems with it.i can get both black and colour cartridges for less than 7 quid for the two.0

Thanks for that. I won't touch Lexmark - ink prices!:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0 -
I've an Olivetti all-in-one, works fine if you can find, and buy the cartridges. Free to a good home!Member #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0
