Aww that's a shame! Good idea about actually speaking with the providers to see if they'll be more lenient.

I'm so pedantic about checking dates/details as I'd be sooooo gutted if I won something I couldn't go on. Hubby's a teacher so we can only go away in school hols. I 'gamble' on some that don't specify black out dates, but am sure the one I win will be one I can't go on! Suppose I could always leave hubby at home lol ;)

Don't suppose they'd let you go instead? Bit of a kick in the teeth for sis though lol! ;)

  • - I'd agree with the suggestions to just accept the prize, then contact the place and see if you can change dates. - I was in the states a couple of years back, and I was able to change the times of flight back by paying I think a £50 fee....I'd accept it,and the contact the places/airlines asking what the fee is to change the dates. Worth a try I think...! Fingers crossed......

Hope you get something sorted, it would be a shame to lose out. Even if she can't accept this one I hope the honeymoon she does have is a nice one :)
  • Well on the plus side she's won a baby! :)

Personally i'd rather have the holiday, tho' i do believe that trying to win a baby is a lot more fun than most other competition entries ;)
