bissell proheat 2x deep cleaner - any good

Hello.
I wanted some advice on the bissell proheat 2x deep cleaner (the one with the current advert - a load of people walking over the cream carpet) is it worth the money and how realistically would it deep clean the carpet. i'm after something to give my carpet a very very good clean - like getting dark patches off - i'm not expecting unrealistic results like shown in the advert)-
just wanted to know people's reviews as i've heard that bissells aren't very well made and don't last long . I've got a vax rapide and not really giving me the results i want so maybe chnaging it for the bissell
