I've just booked my xl.com flights using my tesco vouchers.

I ordered my vouchers from tesco, then i rang xl

you have to pay the price that is advertised on the internet at the time. They don't allow discount codes.

Also you have to pay £25 in cash, as vouchers can't be used towards charges.

Our flights were £99 each and i used £150 in xl.com vouchers.

Yes me too with no problems. Booked in November, 2 flights to Gran Canaria in March. £320 flights cost me £55 cash and £75 clubcard vouchers. First you convert the vouchers to xl deals tokens, doing the conversion over the net is a lot quicker. Doing it by post takes a week and your flilghts may then not be available. Once you receive the deals theres a special number to ring and book. You then send the deals tokens to XL using special delivery (if they go missing in the post they wont honor the booking). Long as you book at least 21 days before departure you will be fine. Oh and I made sure my travel insurance policy covers the cost of the vouchers should anything to wrong. Tesco will tell you their policy will cover them but the premium is extortionate. Good luck.

I didnt convert mine until I needed them just in case the flights were not available and I wanted to use them somewhere other than xl. I have lost clubcard vouchers before, just phone the clubcard helpline, they will see the missing vouchers have not been used and will re issue them to you.
  • Hi We booked a holiday to Malta in September using XL.com - really easy, paid fully in Tesco vouchers. Have since been in touch with the hotel and arranged an upgrade for which we will pay the hotel direct. First time We have used the vouchers for a foreign holiday, usually use them for Eurostar, and London hotel breaks.

Just a quick question Factor25, who do you have your travel insurance with, as I'm thinking of using mine for a holiday?

    Thanks :T
