Just had my first MSE frugal moment. Got a fiver to go to the kebab shop and got to my door and said "!!!! it, this can go on so many better things than fast food". Put the fiver into savings and stuck some oven chips on

Well done for resisting the kebab!! I bet you felt really good about putting the money into savings, I always do when I decide not to 'pop to the shops for a bar of chocolate' and put the money in the pot instead

Good thread, i'll start something similar myself. My goal isn't anything long term, but i want to have 2 decent holidays next summer.
