Should I be catious about very cheap quotes for Buildings Insurance? I have a best quote of £171.00 from ibuyeco (whom I have never heard of) against just over £300 from my current insurer Direct Line (I have tried to squeeze them down but that is their best quote)

I would have a good look round as others have said that does not look cheap for buildings only cover (dependent on the rebuild), alot of smaller brokers have good deals on home insurance at the moment. Have you tried your local broker?

No haven't tried local broker. Never found the small guys have beaten the quotes on Compare the market. £171.00 is the cheapest out of 30 quotes. The main issue is should I be wary of companies I havent heard of?
