Hi. Sorry being a cat person on a doggy thread, but I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not PAH also have frozen raw food for cats? I've never even noticed a freezer in the couple of PAH stores I go to, though haven't really looked either. ;)

I think it might even be a cat/or dog food ( like northglade..?) as I think its basically just minced chicken ( frozen in a block), there may be a fish and a lamb one I honestly cant remember. We didnt buy it as we were on a very hot day and not takign her straight home ( big walk) and we thought the stuff would be defrosted and potentially stink.

    http://www.petforums.co.uk/cat-health-nutrition/151639-pets-home-raw-frozen-minces.html heres a thread about it re;cats

My dog loves northglade but its tricky to find.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I believe the Prize Choice and Natures Menu range (not sure if PAH sell both or just one of the two - not a PAH shopper myself) can be fed to cats too but some can be a bit fussy about it. I would imagine that as an addition to a raw diet for cats they would be fine, but not sure they would provide a 100% balanced diet

Has anyone used or is using this for their dog?
I am looking to change my dogs feeding habits, he is on Arden Grange junior but it getting so expensive and to be honest he will only eat it if he is really hungry last thing at night.I also give him Cesar wet food, he is now going off this and I frequently end up throwing it in the bin.
I really am struggling, bought some cheap mince and cooked it, he liked that with rice, he likes cooked chicken(not bones) but it tends to make his bowels loose.I have to add that because he is so small he does'nt eat a lot but I want to find him something that he looks forward to eating and not eat just because he is ' starving hungry'. He is 18mnths old x breed Yorkie/Papillon.

You can try what I feed my lad when hes being fussy. he too is on Arden grange as I find it to be a great food at a very reasonable price

Anyways any left over chicken or mince or lamb and vegetables etc we have goes in the mincer - real fine. Then come feeding time I use a heaped teaspoon of the mix and add a good splash of hot water, This turns it to a kind of gravy to which I add the biscuit and swirl about to coat. Empty bowl every time.

A teaspoon of added extras shouldnt be upsetting the dogs tum

Mine used to have naturediet but i got fed up of the blown packets and occasionally the dogs would not eat it (i think they knew it wasn't 100%) so i changed them to Wainwrights and they haven't looked back they LOVE it so much that I often wonder why i bother washing their dishes as they are so clean. PAH also do a moneyback guarantee so that if your dog doesnt like it they will refund you. If you order online sign up for their newsletter and you get 10% discount. I've also found the dry food to be one of only a couple that my dogs will eat.
A home is not a home ..... without a dog

I must have been lucky with the Naturediet, I think I have had one in 18 months be what I thought was 'off'. For me the Wainwrights bought in a box was worse than the loose ones.
