Working Tax Credits - No Children

hi, i was wondering if anyone out there knows what the maximum you can earn as a couple and be entitled to working tax credits?

I applied two years ago and was told we earned too much, but our circumstances have changed and were hoping we can get something

I think you need to be earning less than £16,000 to get any Working Tax Credits with no children.

not sure of the figure bit apply if you think your entitled the worst they'll say is no. you have to work over 30 hours as you dont have children

thanks for the replies, i just did the "am i entitled" on their website, and once again we earn too much.

Is there anything else to apply for? we privately rent, but as our council tax is included in the rent, we cant get hb or ctb.

We have no children so cant get a council house, etc

Are there any other couples that are in the same boat???
