the email it was sent from is: requireinfrmcustm@ppteam.com
When i logged into my paypal account (i didnt use the link in the email, i typed it out in a new window) there isn't any sign of anything different to my account so is this a scam? it does look quite genuine and it came to my inbox rather than junk mail like all the other phising stuff i get.
any advice greatly appreciated x

Thanks, suppose it was because it went to my inbox and it does look quite genuine. luckily from reading the fab advice on here i know never to click on links in emails from paypal, bank etc.
If it went to your inbox then you clicked the link as otherwise you wouldn't know, you didn't log in at all though did you? If so change everything and do a deep clean on your PC.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The best thing to do is to go into Paypal, NOT via the link & see if you have a message there.0 -
Hermum has the best advice here, the best way to get your offical information would be to look over paypal itself.0
