Thanks. Saga regularly write to me offering me a 'special subscription deal'. Having occasionally read it whilst waiting at the doctors, I can see I'd be better off spending the money on gin. It contains nothing that can't be found easily and in more detail on the internet for free.

The Saga magazine is very boring and full of plugs and adverts for the organisation's own insurance and travel products. Why on earth is the sainted Ros Altmann referred to as a 'Director-General'? I know the BBC and MI5 have 'Directors-General' but a travel and insurance outfit???

So true never ever ask for a motor quote from Saga or if you do, do not give them your address...

I learnt the hard way, still getting mail 5 years on even though I just send it back unopened...I now will not buy a Saga product on principle although the fact it always seems much more expensive than comparative products helps as well..:)

I agree with what all posters have said - not worth any money whatsoever, I doubt very much I would give it house room even if it was free ! - and even for "free" it would be expensive for what it is !!
