working tax credits

i have been told that the goverment are putting down the hours you have to work to cliam working tax credits so you may by able to get it if you work below 16 hours is this right and when are they doing it

It looks like they are planning to extend the help towards childcare costs to those who work less than 16 hours per week according to this:

When Universal Credit eventually replaces tax credits it will not have an hours requirement. I suspect that is what you are referring to.
No changes to tax credits have been announced, in fact they are going the opposite way and increasing hours needed to get WTC for some people.
