Really enjoying your diary Nora, finally caught up; reading it was one of the first things I did yesterday morning, Mr Banwa and me drinking tea in bed, him reading his book and me reading your diary on my phone. :D

    Ah the perfect marriage

Aww, thanks Banwa - your kind comments have really made my day.

And *ahem* glad I could help out with the marriage....;)

i love the snowman most of all. i've got some glass paint in the cupboard as it's something i'd love to have a go at but i've not gotten there yet.
I've been busy knitting, i've gotten the hang of knitting on 3 pins, so i've a few hexipuffs finished, they're so easy i can't believe i was so worried, or that i paid for the pattern wish i'd been able to find it online for free but i guess that's just being cheeky.

At the moment it's another throw (number 2 out of 3 which need to be done for Christmas). This one is dark green - and is coming together really well, which is lucky as the wool looked like very large nuggest of horse poo when it first came out of the bag! ;)

Other projects scheduled for this week include framing a couple of photos I'm giving to friends for Christmas (nothing special - I'm awful with a camera, but they're candid shots I caught accidentally of both couples looking all lovey dovey at each other...their respective partners that is! So I thought I'd shove them in frames I already have knocking about the house and add them to the presents).

And then I want to get some more glass done - which is my carrot for getting the other projects done.

Make yourself a little time - it's lots of fun. Been doing mine for about 15 years now, and I learn something new every time I play with the paints etc.

Congrats on the hexipuffs! (still the best word in the English language). Have you seen the beekeeper quilt being made by Tiny Owl Knits? She's an American staying over here, and is very sweet. If not, just google Tiny Owl Knits or hexipuffs and you should find her.

Nora that's where i got my pattern from, i think i'm up to 9 or 10 puffs now, it's not going to be a finished product for a long time yet, though i should get lots done in two weeks time as i'll take it to keep me sane whilst i'm at my outlaws for the week.

    Evening Nora,

Been following your diary from the sidelines for a bit so thought I'd let you know that I'm enjoying your posts. Have just started my own diary so like knowing that other people are battling along too! Love the look of your throws; could do with one just now as my heating has broken!

Looking at your signature it appears that you've managed to pay off 10K a year for the last five years so a big well done on that. It's quite inspiring but how have you managed to do so well? Any hints and tips for someone just starting on on his debt free wannabe diary?
