Nora, before this thought escapes me again must write down for you!
I was at a friend's house recently and she had a rather beautifully decorated wine glass with her name on. She made a whole set of these for a special dinner so that they made both fab nameplates, and a passably cheap little gift for people to take their own home... I don't know if you do these already, but just in case not might be another thing people could order from website or pick up at a fair...

If you use numbered bulletpoints it does it automatically.- It does.
- Honestly.

Try closing a joint-account. Even the bank didn't know how to and gave me 3 different stories...Knitting_Nora wrote: »*sigh* that's me, never quite getting it right! :rotfl:
No, it just means you're not going all the way...Knitting_Nora wrote: »Have, for the first time ever, utilised my ISA savings account properly. And I've opened my first ever online Post Office one. No idea why I'm so excited about having a PO account, but I really am!
Have you checked which financial authority that account is "insured" with?Knitting_Nora wrote: »Not sure I'm allowed to give a link to the site once it's up as it's advertising...but will check the MSE rules and see what they say. In any case, I'll shout when it's live and I'm sure if you googled the name, it'd send you in the right direction....;)
Take a look at the "website" entry under your user profile.Knitting_Nora wrote: »Have ended up working alongside a very good friend who is setting up her own business at the same time - so we're joining forces as our products compliment (or is it complement?)
Complement. Compliment means "say nice things about".Knitting_Nora wrote: »each other really well, plus it's lovely to have the company when you're starting out.
It is indeed. And you can keep each other on the straight and narrow.Knitting_Nora wrote: »Annoyingly, you can't see the detail on the colour bubbles in my pics
Look at the "macro" setting on your camera. It will have a "sweet spot".Knitting_Nora wrote: »take care out there!

Oh I'm glad you like that plan - I think they'd be a lovely idea, though I am now slightly concerned about a vision of you doing 150 for a wedding
If it helps, we could explain to Z that your knowledge of camera is probably about equal to my knowledge about setting up internet TV...

Knitting_Nora wrote: »Erm..not quite sure what you mean here, but I did check that the account is covered by the FSCS... is there something else I should be worrying about? *reaches for her worrying hat*
Nope. That's just what you should be worried about. The Post Office accounts used to be (or maybe still are) managed by the Bank of Ireland. They used to be backed by the Irish version of the FSCS. Irish state finances are a train crash - you don't want to be messing with that stuff...Knitting_Nora wrote: »Shows how much you know!!:rotfl:

There is someone who knows all about your camera. Called "Instruction Manual"..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
