Paralysis and telephone

Hi,
Does anyone know of a telephone system that can be used by someone who has no mobility apart from their head. My friend has MS and has lost all use of her body below the neck. This means that even the pendant alarm is not accessible to her as she is unable to press the button. Any help for a system that would enable her to alert help when she is occasionally left alone would be great.
Thanks
Buggins

It may be worth speaking to the MS Society for suggestions. And also get a community care assessment done (I think social services do it but not sure) as they may be able give advice and provide equipment either for free or at a cutdown price.

Is your friend able to speak? There are voice activated telephones where you can ask the phone to call someone and it automatically dials - in fact many ordinary mobile telephones have this feature.
You can also get voice activated emergency alarms.
