Samsung N210 Card Reader Not Working

Help, I have a Samsung N210 Netbook with a built in SD Card reader and it isn't recognisng it. I have tried 7 different SD cards and also a new one bought in the last week and it isn't recognising it. When I go into 'My Computer' it isn't even showing up, it is like it doesn't exist. I am using Windows 7. Does anyone have any suggestions. I rung Samsung this morning, but didn't have my Netbook with me (TBH I was expecting them to take it straight in for repair as I'd spoken with Ebuyer who advised me to ring Samsung and they would arrange collection, but they wanted to run through some 'troubleshooting' with me). The lady at Samsung mentioned something about a 'driver' I needed to download, but I said I'd have to ring her back on Friday when I'm not at work. Anyone got any ideas what the problem is, I don't want to appear a complete plank if it is something that can be easily sorted.
