Shoes advertised as leather but not.

hiya all, I hope someone can advise me. I ordered some trainers advertised with leather uppers which was oneof the reasons I ordered them. I was pleased with my purchase and after I had been wearing them I remembered the advert. I checked the label and it says uppers textile/other. I emailed the supplier and had to choose a catagory but none of them were 'not as advertised' so picked one at random. I get standard replies of 'please return faulty goods' I rang to say they were not faulty and I liked them and would maybe keep them as I had worn them but could we come to an agreement over price. I keep getting rediculous emails that are standard replies that drive me mad as they obviously do not read what I ask of them. The last one today says when I receive the item they can deal with the problem ?? I already have the item. Should I give up and put up or should I try to negotiate.

In shoes man made fibres won't last as long as leather. Send them back before it is too late.
