Do I need insuracne to hold keys?

I am looking at starting my own dog walking business. I have been considering the fact that I may need to have copies of customers keys if i need to take the dogs while they are at work. I wondered if there was some sort of insurance i could get that would cover me for holding a copy of their keys as this would provide peace of mind to my customers? I have done a quick search on google but couldn't really find anything.

Yes. Google dog walker insurance.

ps I'd would be more worried about losing the clients dog than their keys.

you may also need to be registered, if holding keys

Thankyou for the replies. When you say register what do you mean by this? Register with who?

I have looked at dog walkers insurance but this seems to just cover public liability, would i need something additional for holding the keys?

I think if you was to look to get insurance which covered you for key holding then it would out a big cost onto your business. What would happen if your clients keys were stolen & they were then robbed?

Would they look to get reimbursement from you or would there own home insurance cover this? - I would re look at this and decide your best way to move forward as this may never happen but if it did & you have no cover it could be costly.
