Mixing oil.

I seem to have accumulated various oils in my garage and wondered if they can be mixed to do an oil change in my Peugeot 205. They're mainly semi synthetics ie 10W 40W and 15W 40W. Is it OK providing they're within the manufacturers specifications for that car?

They can be mixed, but have you enough to do an oil change - or will you need to buy another 5ltrs anyway, to make up enough to do the job?

Wouldn't you be better buying a full 5lts, use this & remember to top up, with what you've already got open?

You'll buy a reasonable spec 15-40 from Asda, for £7ish!

Yes there is enough, it just seems it's a bit of a waste with it laying around in different containers. It doesn't need topping up in between oil changes.
