Redundancy package

Hi all. I was made voluntarily redundant 2 years ago and as part of my package my line manager and HR agreed to allow me to keep my phone/bill as part of this package. The company have been paying my bill ever since and as this was part of my agreed T+C's for leaving, it was all as expected.
Today I have had a message on my phone saying that my phone will be de-activated as I am not a member of staff.....!!!
This was an agreed part of my redundancy package, much like some staff are given company cars etc, mine included my phone/bill and as such am concerned that they are now asking for this back. If this was a company car I may well have sold it and then what would I do, and if not an agreed part of my package why would they have continued to pay for my phone for so long ? Indeed if this is being removed could I ask for some form of financial compensation for the loss, as this has now changed the redundancy T+C's.
Any help much appreciated.

I find it hard to believe that an employer would have agreed to pay your phone bills indefinitely. What documentation do you have to back that up?0

I don't sadly, but it was agreed with HP and my line manager.
If they had not agreed to pay it why have they been paying it for so long...?0 -

I don't understand your logic I'm afraid. They could have agreed to pay it for two years, or they could have not agreed at all and have been paying it by mistake - you might get a bill from them tomorrow. If you don't have any proof that it was agreed I suggest you keep quiet and hope they don't come after you for two years worth of bills!0 -
All I have is an email from my old boss saying that my phone/bill would be included. It does not state for how long either way......0
