Stamps for charity...

I'm sure I sent some stamps off to a dog charity from here last year. Does anybody know who it was? Or is there anyone else that can use used stamps for charity....

  • Hi, pretty sure Dogs Trust take stamps .... as do Cats Protection (although this is done on an area CP basis rather than a national organistation - there may be one near you). HTH

    Dogs Trust take stamps:
Dogs Trust is able to raise valuable funds through the collection and selling of stamps, which is been coordinated by dedicated volunteer Jenny Thomas for the past 26 years. During that time she has helped us raise over £25,000.
We are particularly seeking the following:
    • Collections, Albums, First Day Covers, Mini Sheets & Presentation Packs.
    • GB high value definitives (above 30p face value) & the new "large" stamps.
    • All GB Pictorial and Christmas issues.
    • Regional stamps - lions, dragons etc.
    • All old and pre-decimal issues.
    • Foreign countries including Channel Islands and Man.
    • Anything "old and interesting".
Please note that 1st and 2nd class Queen's head issues are unfortunately not of enough value to be sold for us.
If you have any stamps you would like to send in, please use the address below and remember to include your name and address details:

Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D

Thanks guys, I'll send them to dogs trust this time. I'm sure now you've mentioned many tears, I sent them there last time. Thanks.

Just read that reply again and they don't like 1st and 2nd class stamps and I have around 100 or so. Will send to "many tears" instead.
  • Thank You so much for sending them to Many Tears, it is very much appreciated
