A definitive yes or no to going topless in St Lucia

Does anybody know a definite yes or no if you can go topless in St Lucia?

One website says yes, one says no, one says no but if you are a tourist they turn a blind eye.

I don't want to rock the boat or offend or get arrested!

    It's not really accepted, although you probably won't get arrested. I'd recommend not going topless as locals may be offended and/or you may get hassle from some of the men out there. If you have a private bit of beach/balcony, then go for it, but otherwise not. Just get a bikini top that you can remove the straps from, and then you won't get those dreaded white lines.

    Having said that, please wear HIGH sunfactor (minimum 50) as the sun out there is very strong, and as there is usually a breeze there, you won't feel the heat as much as when there's no wind.

    Actually, boobs go saggy when exposed to a lot of sun, so keeping your top on could be a blessing, really :)

    I burn like a prawn so I've got SPF 50 for all 3 of us! :cool:

    I'll test the water and see but take a top as well to cover the puppies up! :rotfl:
