Looking for a netbook

On the lookout for a decent netbook, as a 2nd more portable computer.

I've had a look at the Dell Inspiron Mini2012, but it seems to have been discontinued, with an occasional one on the outlet. It was going for £200-250 new.


Any suggestions for others?

All I would say is keep an eye on Car Phone Warehouse, I picked up an Acer netbook for £100, not the best but it does the job.

Upgrading the RAM module to 2GB will certainly improve the performance.

Slightly above your price range is the Toshiba NB550D-109. Worth a look if you want a netbook workhorse which is pretty stylish, too.

Though unlike the clown on that guide, don't put your fingers on the contacts. Also, earth yourself by touching a radiator or a tap before handling the RAM.
