My home pc is driving me up the wall.everytime the pc starts up after i login I get svchost.exe application error and then another window saying generic host process for win32 services has encountered a problem.
I have checked for spyware with adaware, spyware doctor, spybot and found nothing. I have scanned for viruses using mcafee and avg and found nothing.
Any suggestions on things I should try or software to use would be much appreciated as I am ready to throw the pc out of the window.

At last, I am back online :j the old pc wouldn't even boot.
Been saving for a new pc for ages, so bought all the parts and slapped it together and at last I am back online, but if I can get the old one to boot i'll post the hijack this log up here as I would love to know what happened and make sure it doesn't happen on my new pc.
Thanks for your help
