OPC parking fine

hmmm... just received a letter/fine from OPC saying that on 02/10/2010 (yes.. about a year ago!!) that I overstayed my welcome on a retail park in Telford.
the retail park has a 5 hour limit (i've never stayed on that place for more than a couple of hours!!)
Anyway, as a goodwill gesture they'll let me off with a £90 fine if I pay within 7 days... otherwise it's £100/take me to court.
I assume I'm filing this in the kitchen bin and ignoring their asses?
looks like a standard letter where they say they have "photographic evidence"... shall I ask for the photographs? or will this just make them write more often?
thanks

What, you've heard nothing and then suddenly got a letter a year later?0

yeah... that about sums it up!
This is the first letter i've had about a fine over a year ago. Seems a bit bizarre to me and a touch unfairHating Hastings Direct!0 -

they are unfair, but also unenforceable, hence the advice to ignorehelpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
spookier still, they're offering a full £10 off if the OP rushes them off a cheque ASAP, despite the fact that the retards took a full yr to try a scam.
anyone: can a co. really make payment demands for 'services rendered' a full yr after the fact and without previous attempts?
ignore these little unwashed sphincters and get the 'ticket' in the bin, pronto.0 -

Or perhaps cover them with dog poo and simply place into a tyvek envelope that is 100% water proof and return it to them.0 -
In March this year I received about 28 parking tickets through the post from this company dating back to parking offences I apparently caused in November and December last year, all on bold yellow paper, stating if I paid them within 28 days then it'll be £50 otherwise it'll be £100.
I ignored these letters from reading about this on this website and forum, yet today I have received 11 letters from the same company stating I have to pay the £100 otherwise they will take me to court.
I don't even remember parking there, which makes me think it wasn't me as I share this van with two other people.
What do you all think? Should I respond? How should I respond?0 -
shall we assume that their computers have kicked in with a load of "old" cases and they're trying their luck?
this has been filed in the bin. I've read a lot in the past hour or so about how these cases are unenforceable and less than 0.25% end in court action.... i think i'll assume that i'm in the 99.75% who just ignore themHating Hastings Direct!0
