Emailing photo's

My wife is wanting to send some photo's she took recently to some friends, the are 23 in all. I have tried compressing then using winzip and emailing them from her hotmail account but we keep on getting an error message saying the file is too large. We have cut the amount of photo's she is sending down to 10 but are still getting the error message.
Could someone advise us on how we would be able to send all the photo's?
Thanks,
Pete.

What is the files size of these photos? They will most probably need to be reduced in size before sending i.e. there is no point sending massive images to be viewed on a PC screen. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Hi there, i think this is a common problem with hotmail. It really wont allow you to send pictures over a certain size.I dont know what the limits are but it is small . Is this the only e-mail account you have ?0

Why dont you upload them to somewhere like https://www.photobucket.com and then send the link to your pictures.0

this might sound obvious but why not send 23 emails.
you would of probably sent quite a few in the amount of time it took to write your message on this forum.0 -
quick look found thisBe aware, though, that there's a limit to the total size of attachments to a Hotmail message:
- For free accounts the limit is 1 MB.
- MSN Hotmail Plus subscribers get 20 MB.
- In this latter case the size of the message itself counts, too.

Photo's transfered to a computer from a digital camera are extremely large, reduce them.
Reduce the size of the photo and this will reduce the size of the fileMortgage FREE as of March 2015
