Has anyone been to Sardinia?

Sardinia doesn't seem to get a mention but it can be really cheap if you make all your own arrangements. Some bargains with Ryanair or Easyjet and lots to do when you get there. Get away from the main tourists areas though as they can be a bit pricey. I went to https://www.sardiniafloat.co.uk and if you use their 'contact us' form to ask any question, you get redircted to another site giving extra information.

Funny that 99% of your posts are about Sardinia and especially that web-site:rolleyes:

Wouldn't happen to be yours would it:confused:

    Any comments???
  • Just a big fan of Sardinia and particularly the Arbatax area because I have been there many times and know a lot of the locals. They really struggle to earn a living because most of the British tourist tend to stay round the airports and do not venture to the center of the island. The website I mentioned gives FREE advice to anyone visting Sardina but particularly the Arbatax area. There are lots of websites offering a similar service, I mention this one because the owners speak English and because I know them.

If you get away from the tourist areas you can get some bargains, the locals love the Brits (mainly because they see so few) and there are some bargains to be had. You can book direct but why not take advantage of the free advice offered by sardiniafloat if you are visting the Arbatax area?
