Lloyds TSB PPI Claim

Hello All,

I have a claim against Llloyds TSB for PPI mis-selling relating to a loan I paid off earlier in the year. My decision was due today and have just noticed the balance of a new loan I have recently opened up with Lloyds has suddenly reduced by circa £1,500 (similar to what I was expecting as a refund). Would Lloyds refund PPI to a loan account not related to that which the claim has been made against?

    In a word; yes.

This seems to be the way Lloyds are doing things, im not 100% but im sure others will advise better, but if the loan account isnt in arrears you can ask it to be paid direct to you........ hope that helps & others will concur ;)

  • There is an underlying logic to this. In theory, if the PPI had not been missold, you would not have borrowed as much this time around.

Mine went down overnight by a 1/3 and Ive been told (by CEO) that I'll still get my FULL refund by chq if not I'm taking it further :D
  • I'm in almost exactly the same position as the OP and I've had my calculations letter which states the money will be paid direct into my bank account.

In my mind it shouldn't be the banks decision as to where the money goes (unless the person is in arrears on the 2nd loan). They should just pay the money they owe direct to the individual.
