my dear old dad, 80 years old, Rhondda born & bred and supports two teams, Wales and whoever is playing England missed out on the Welsh papers following the match.

I didn't think of it sooner and realise it's a long shot but if anyone has a copy of Monday's Western Mail they don't want then I'd really appreciate it.

If you can help drop me a PM please

Good luck on that search, Vaio.

From what you've told me before I suspect our fathers would have a had a few pints together.

Got one, (or rather two so I’ll keep one).

I thought the newspapers pulped the returns/spares when they arrived back but it seems the Western Mail keep some for 6 weeks before pulping them.

A very nice girl in Cardiff has promised to send one to Dad and one to me for the bargain price of £2 something all in.

She did also mention that Monday’s was the most popular edition she can remember in terms of back orders so maybe I’ll have something valuable to leave to my grand kids after all.
