HI, There are 6 of us that are 30 next year. We are looking to book somewhere for next Feb 2008. But no idea where to go
, any ideas want a trip to remember!
We have a budget of £2000 max per couple for flights and hotel for approx 4 nights.
We went to New York, Las Vegas, Hawaii and San Fran on honeymoon and loved it, also been on a cruise on the med.
Where have you been? what do you recommend? and ideas welcome.

Atrip to the ice hotel in Kiruna in the arctic circle would be a good one with a group of you. If you do go, make sure you take the dog sled transfer from Kiruna to the ice hotel. It s a brilliant holiday, cant help much with details as we went as part of our friends wedding party and they made the arrangements. We stayed overnight in Stockholm on the way.0

That's what I did for my 30th :-) We kept the cost down by all 5 of us sharing a 'family room' in the Ice Hotel. It was great fun, one of the best holidays I've ever had. We were on a tight budget so we stayed a couple of nights in a youth hostel/budget hotel in Kiruna, but with a bigger budget I'd have stayed a couple of nights in the warm accomodation at the Ice Hotel.
OH and one of our friends went ice swimming at the Ice Hotel as well. They were recovering in the hot tub on the lake and we were chatting with them while there was an amazing display of the Northern Lights. It was truly magical.
We did a night in Stockholm too, and it was loads cheaper to get cheap flights to Stockholm (ryanair I think) then SAS up to Kiruna.
EDIT: to add, you need to think about booking now though if you are interested. I went in March and we booked it the previous July and we were lucky to get a room. When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0
