I rarely womble now, but the best one I found last year was over £100 (100+ points). As COOLTRIKERCHICK has said, don't over-do the manual adjustments for a few points a time, it's not worth it as you may get a letter from Tesco HO.

I did last summer, probably because I got carried away and picked up every tiny 2-pointer I found. Also, the dates of the receipts I wombled were the same dates as I had already shopped with my Clubcard........so it doesn't take Tesco long to realise you had not 'forgotten your clubcard' that day!

The letter was a warning really, worded to appear helpful 'we've noticed a large number of manual adjustments recently, do you have any problems e.g. have you lost your clubcard' (they knew I hadn't as I was using it almost daily!). Then it politely reminded me of the clubcard t&cs and that points are primarily to be earned at the till.

That said, I do still womble very occasionally, and I have more than 1 clubcard for the household now which helps. I found a £40 receipt last week I will be adding to the clubcard that I DIDN'T use that day, IYSWIM.

Recently at Sainsburys a chap in front let me have his £125 shop on my Nectar card (I was cheeky enough to ask). On the other hand, at Tesco last month a lady in front of me spent £80 with no clubcard, I said nothing as she looked a bit unfriendly....then AFTER paying she said to the cashier 'oh, you can let this lady have my points if it's not too late' it was too late...I certainly wasn't going to drag her to CS with her receipt for a manual adjustment!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • trotted off to tesco today to look for clothing vouchers & H & B. First trolley i came to had two discarded clothing coupons and ............. receipt for 152 points !!!!!! yeahhh

But then you win some you lose some, bought 4 toothpaste & tried to hand over loads of coupons but she would only take 1 of each , including the 50 points. Never mind still got them for about 75p and the coupons will live for another day and another sa.

    Happy wombling everyone

My OH doesn't like me using coupons for things we haven't bought, but he's getting used to it ;) however he is getting good at wombling - was a bit sceptical at first but when we kept finding petrol vouchers he decided it was a good idea and now always looks out for extra points vouchers - amazing what people just discard

I found 3 at Christmas 41points, 60 and 9 then forgot I had them. Last week Hanley refused to put them on saying they were too old so went to Trentvale on a mystery shop and they put them on straight away for me.
