I was hearbroken to see pics in the Paper.

Racoon dogs are being skinned alive in China - to make "Ugg Boots"

Please please please !

What can anyone do to stop this?

That video has been floating around the net for about 6/7 years now, previously due to 'fake' something else previously

Theres no evidence to suggest why the animals were being treated the way they were in the video, so its possible fake, more likely a peta thing to stop people buying ugg boots

i doubt fake uggs would have any sort of animal fur in them to be honest

Why on earth would anyone want to go the trouble of killing, skinning and curing a racoon skin to make fake Uggs ? Just buy some cheap look-alike fur fabric !!

yeah i heard, but the same footage caused a big stir about 3 years ago last, and prior to that was about 04/05, i just googled it and found it all

the video is supposedly from the 1990s. All it does is show animals being harmed, it doesn't say why, they could have been dieseased

i love the way us westy's are still lead to believe eastern types are savages that feed off fluffy wuffy animals, the evil chinese people!!!!!

the cost of treating all that fur for the sake of cheap uggs makes no sense anyway
