CSA payments

New to all this but need help.

Have been paying CSA (for 3 children) for long time, and for last 8 years or so by attachment to earnings.

I was assessed in June 2009 and attachment was £269.18 per month.

Now being re-assessed and told will be £616 per month. Apparently my earnings have gone up £57 a month and my housing down by £49 a month so that's £106 more available per month.

How can this equate to an extra £347 per month. To me it just doen't make sense.
I want them to look at Junes assessment but they say if it was incorrect i will be liable to repay for their mistake. Is this right.
