I'm really trying to switch - confusion reigns
uswitch state scottishpower online energy no standing charge will save me 22%
Energy helpline state scottishower online energy saver 16 will save me 17%.
Both are coming in the cheapest on their respective sites - is it the same tarriff?
Moneysupermarket say OVO will save me 18% saving
2626 kwh electricity per annum
8334 kwh gas
Is it me or them missing something?

Do the comparison sites calculate your current costs to the same value?
Just use them as a pointer then go onto the suipplier's own site to get the actual details and estimate of your annual cost.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. yes.
I have been on Scottishpower and no mention of the uswitch tarriff.0 -
I did a fictitious quote on Scottish Power and got both the tariffs you mentioned. The uswitch one said something like "online energy nsc", but I can't find it either just looking at their products.
Edit:
I think they might be one and the same with tiered rates and no standing charge.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards.
