  • Saw this yesterday on my phone, didn't get around to walking Ripley, so I'm really pleased it was on the first page today to jog my memory.

He has now been walked and face-booked...

I'm off to walk real life rescue greyhounds in a moment, anything that raised the profile of animals in danger and in need of care is fantastic. Ripley must be worn out after all these walks!

Well done! :T I have a rescued greyhound & a lurcher and they are such gentle, loving family dogs.

Greyhounds often get a rough deal before they are rescued.
"I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."

They certainly can have a rough life, but love it when they find their forever home. I have a pet rescue greyhound, and I'm heavily involved with the rescue centre we got him from, so every Wednesday we go to walk the kennel dogs (we have a rota so they get out twice a day).

I have previously posted this on the grabbit board and have been asked to repost over here - sorry didn't know you were here, i have obviously led a blinkered life!!

Please can you follow the link below and take "Ripley" by the lead and take her on a virtual tour of four websites and then "Pedigree" will donate money to "The adoption drive"

    https://www.pedigreeadoptiondrive.com.

Pedigree will donate £1 for every virtual tour completed.

You can do as many tours as you like 15, 20, 50 - as many as you can as Pedigree will pay for each one

I know there are a lot of animal lovers on this board - it won't cost you anything and you will have helped lots of dogs without a home up and down the country.

Now go on take Ripleys lead and away you go

Also please put on FB and Twitter if you have accounts - the more people that hear about this and take part the better

    TIA xx
